Challenge

Overseeing large-scale construction and risk management projects, the team of experts at MGAC considers itself a learning organization. MGAC needed to support its staff members in attaining ongoing and focused refinement of their technical and soft skills. With employees spread across the country and on job sites, their program also had to be easily accessible to remote learners without taking time away from their clients.

Solution

In 2015, MGAC established MGAC University, a training program dedicated to improving organizational effectiveness by using learning and development (L&D) as a competitive tool. MGAC chose Grovo to be its on-demand, online learning partner. With a combination of 5,000 microlearning video lessons on digital and soft skills, custom-made lessons on MGAC's benefits program, and an easy-to-use interface, MGAC's employees were able to integrate training into their daily practices. Additionally, MGAC University could easily monitor and track usage so they could measure their success in reaching L&D goals.
