Steven Carpenter Appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Grovo

San Francisco, CA - May 10, 2017 - Grovo, the technology company redefining workplace learning, today announced that it has named Steven Carpenter as its Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Fernandez, previous CEO, will join its board of directors.

Before joining Grovo, Steven served as an Executive-in-Residence at Accel Partners. Previously, he was the Global Sales & Operations executive at Dropbox, where he developed, managed, and scaled teams to help Dropbox for Business operate, sell, and grow across the world. As the founding CEO of two companies--Endorse.com (acquired by Dropbox) and Cake Financial (acquired by E*Trade)--Steven has deep experience in a variety of business models, including consumer technology, web and mobile services, B2B software, and SaaS.

Earlier in his career, Steven managed strategy and ran day-to-day operations for Rhapsody, one of the first digital music subscription services. He also led business development at financial services startup myCFO, founded by Jim Clark and backed by Kleiner Perkins, as well as at online photo site Snapfish.
