3 min

Quiz 1 of 2

Your coworker didn’t immediately think of the “mom’s the surgeon” answer to the riddle, and now he feels bad. What can you tell him?

Your unconscious biases aren’t a reflection of what you value or believe, but it’s important to be aware of them.
Most people don’t answer correctly, so your coworker is perfectly normal.
It’s good to feel bad about it -- that’s what will motivate him to change.
It’s not worth worrying about the riddle because there are many worse biases to have.

Quiz 2 of 2

What is an example of unconscious bias?

Drinking more peppermint tea than green tea.
Being surprised when your new doctor turns out to be in their 20s.
Liking your old friends more than new acquaintances.
