You Want to Build

Tip 1
Write your main point in one sentence

It will help you stay focused on what’s most important in the content you’re creating, and make that point extra clear for your employees. If you’re struggling to articulate what you want to say in just one sentence (or two tops), you may need to do some more prep work before you really get into building the content.

Tip 2
Tell real-world stories that show how your lesson applies to work.

Never take your employees’ attention for granted. By telling those stories, you can make your content more engaging, and help answer the most important question on their minds: what’s in it for me?

Tip 3
End with action

Make it as easy as possible for your employees to start using what they’ve learned by giving them something to do immediately. In some cases that might mean having them get started on whatever your content is teaching, or it could be as simple as asking them to share what they’ve learned in a team chat.
