To create a project in YouTube Video Editor, you must add clips from other YouTube videos.

Your own videos will appear under the video camera icon, and public videos that uploaders have designated as "Creative Commons" videos will be under the "CC" tab.

You can find public videos from your playlists using the filter dropdown, or find any video by typing keywords into the search bar.

To add any clip to your project, click the plus button at the top right of the clip to add it to the end, or click and drag the video into the dotted lines below.

You can drag any clip before, after or between clips already in the sequence.

Don't worry too much about the clip order, as you can shuffle the clips once they are in the sequence by dragging and dropping.

To remove a clip from the sequence, roll over it and press the "x."
