With Twitter fully integrated into iOS, you may think that you don't need to install the app on your iPhone.

However, tweeting from the third party application allows you more nuanced control of your tweets, as well as access to the profiles of people you follow.

With Twitter's iPhone app, you can send tweets, follow the tweets of others, and interact with the Twittersphere just like you can from the web interface.

To install the Twitter iPhone app, open the "Settings" app and select Twitter.

If you have not yet installed the app, hit "Install" at the top of the screen to download it, and type your Apple password in the popup.

Once installed, open the app and sign in to your account to start tweeting on the go.
