Freeze up to ten rows or five columns from the view menu, selecting freeze rows or freeze columns, then the number of rows or columns you want locked.

Now as you scroll, the frozen sections of your document remain visible.

Note that you cannot insert, delete, or rearrange rows or columns in the frozen sections.

You will have to unfreeze them before you can make any changes.

You can quickly increase or decrease the number of frozen rows or columns by clicking and dragging the heavy bar that marks the outer edge of the frozen section.
