On Facebook, you can show interest in your friends' updates by commenting on them, or liking the content they've shared.

Click "Like" below a post to publicly indicate your approval.

You can choose to "Unlike" it at any time.

To add a comment, click into the comment box below and type your comment.

You can add a new line by holding "control" on a Mac keyboard, or "shift" on a Windows, and hitting "enter." Just hit "enter" to post your comment.

You can also click the camera icon to attach a photo from your computer to your comment.

Click the "X" to remove it.

Click "Share" below a post to re-share it to your own network.

Choose where you want to post the link, then add a comment if you'd like.

Click "Share" when you're ready.

If you'd like to be notified when a post receives likes or comments, click the down arrow to the right and select "Get Notifications."
