Unlike Google Search, which ranks search results based on the relevance of a webpage to the keyword you typed, Graph Search uses the Facebook Social Graph, or all of the data users have shared with Facebook, such as likes, location, and interests to create matches.

Note, however, that your results are personalized based on your connections and the privacy settings of your friends.
