Facebook Lists allow you to segment your friends into groups so you can target certain people to share your content with, and create a News Feed with only those friends' updates. Facebook provides some default lists, like "Close Friends," "Acquaintances," and "Restricted." Adding friends to these will change how much information you see from each other. Facebook also provides some "smart" lists, like work friends, school friends, friends who live near you, and family members, which update automatically. To begin creating your own lists, go to the homepage and click "Friends" in the lefthand column. If you don't see it, click "More" at the bottom left first. Click the "Create List" button to the right, enter a list name, and add friends to that list. After you've selected a number of friends, click "Create" to view your newly-formed list. You'll see the name of the list you are viewing to the left highlighted in blue, and to the right you'll see other friends Facebook suggests for this list. You can add any of these friends to this list by clicking "Add" next to their name, or click the link below to see more suggestions. Click a list title in the column to the left at anytime to bring up a feed with updates from the friends in that list. To edit any list, click "Manage list" in the upper right.
