The company's based in Iowa and they're a payments network.
You basically link your bank account to your Dualla account and you can pay from your bank account.
A lot of people consider us the digital cash option.
I'm building other API platforms, specifically getting third parties to integrate to Dualla as a form of payment.
I was Aviary for the last two years, a platform for developers to integrate Aviary's photo editor onto their site.
I led business development and partnerships for those deals.
So business development really consists of three main things, building and maintaining relationships.
The second part is it's the process of building the business side, like developing, you know, marketing, business, partnerships.
And the third, which I think is the most important is trying to find that point of sale, like the point of transaction and repeating it as many times as possible.
Ten years ago, if you wanted to work with a technology company, you'd have to get the two tech teams in the same room and you'd have to figure out how to mate your technology together, now one company builds an API and they make it usable with other different types of developer libraries and basically you can go and take their API and plug it into your site.
Usually it comes down if someone wants to do a partnership with us, for any company, it depends on will you make me money, will you save me money, will you grow my user base, will you improve my product.
If you improve my product or you grow my user base, and I'm focused on that at that time, then there's probably a high probability that I'm going to want to use your API or want to work with you.
