Dubbed the "omnibox" by Google, Chrome's address bar doubles as a search box. To access any website, type its URL into the address bar and press enter on your keyboard. To perform a search, type your query into the address bar as well. Chrome was designed to make it easy for you to get to places you've been before. Begin typing a website's name in the address bar All websites that match the spelling will be displayed in a list below. The omnibox also has some special powers. For example, type in a math equation and Chrome solves it for you. The goal of the address bar is to make browsing easy, so when in doubt, type in what you are looking for and press enter.
