Through Chrome you can manage your security settings from the wrench icon in the browsing bar.Click on the wrench icon, then choose "Options" privacy options. Now click Clear browsing data and you'll see a menu where you can choose specific data to clear. Clearing your browsing history every once in a while is beneficial to keeping your information, such as browsing history and passwords, private. It also helps your browser run more efficiently. To avoid having your browsing and download history recorded, you can surf the web in Incognito Mode.To switch to incognito mode, click the wrench icon and select New incognito window. Incognito Windows can be identified by the cloaked icon at the top of the browser window. Keep in mind that while in Incognito mode, your browser won't record your browsing data, so you wont be able to quickly revisit sites as long as Incognito mode is on.
